The Name of our Church, Gathering, defines who we are. It is derived from the greek word “Ekkelesia,” which the New Testament commonly translates as “Church.” An Ekkelesia was a GATHERING of like-minded people with a common mission, and that’s exactly who we are. We are a GATHERING of like-minded people in the belief that Jesus died for the sins of the world. We have the common mission of making disciples through preaching the Gospel, teaching disciples by applying the Gospel, and sending disciples in the power of the Gospel. Despite the different backgrounds, cultures, races, ages, activities, and interests of the members of our GATHERING, we are all united under our common beliefs and mission. We are not a religious organization or social club, but a GATHERING of people who are redeemed in Christ and living on mission for him.
Whether you are a seeker who wants to know more about who Jesus is, or a committed follower of Jesus, we invite you to join us on Sunday mornings as we Gather to worship and study God’s Word.

The Mission
We desire to see people come to faith in the Gospel and to see their faith expressed in growth, community, ministry, and mission.
Our Beliefs
Connecting in worship, being edified through preaching, and finding community are all important when considering a church home. However, what’s even more important is knowing and affirming the beliefs of a church. Take a moment and explore Gathering Church’s beliefs and ministry distinctives.
